In 1964, a group of interested music ministers from American Baptist churches organized the Fellowship of American Baptist Musicians. Since that time, the goal of this organization has been "to enrich the spiritual life through music and worship" by encouraging, stimulating, and assisting our members toward a more effective use of music.
The FABM is a not-for-profit organization with a volunteer five member board. The Board, along with countless hours of volunteer help, organizes, plans, and manages the Conference for Church Musicians, held annually at the Green Lake Conference Center. FABM also manages a Lending Library, available for use by all FABM members.
Since its founding, the goal of FABM has been to meet the musical needs of church musicians of every denomination. A yearly fee ($30.00) gives members the opportunity to use all the benefits of FABM. The membership year runs from January 1 through December 31.
To become a member of the Fellowship of American Baptist Musicians, complete the membership form (print or download (2010 not available yet)) and mail it, along with the appropriate fees, to FABM.
