The Lending Library..

Members in FABM have the opportunity to use its Lending Library, which contains almost 350 choral anthems that are available for you to use upon request. The anthems in the library are in various voicings and vary in difficulty level. Most anthems are perfect for medium and smaller sized choirs. There are a good portion of anthems in the library that are written for children and youth choirs. The more challenging anthems in the library are categorized as "difficult". Also, there are festival anthems for combined choirs. New anthems are added each year with careful attention given to text, musicality and balance.

Perusal packets containing a copy of each anthem in the library are available for members to review for the period of one month. There are four different packets to request. When borrowing an anthem it can be used for ten weeks. Only three anthems can be loaned out at any one time. The only cost to you is the return postage and payment for lost music.

How to Request an Anthem On-Line
There are several ways to requests an anthem. The fastest way is to click on the Peruse Library button below. You can then review the information about each anthem. When you are ready to request and anthem, just click on the anthem number and fill out the form. For now you will have to fill the form out for each anthem. You can check out up to three(3) anthems at one time.

The library is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) and is staffed by volunteers. Karen Hetrick is our Library Coordinator. E-mail us if you would like more information about our lending library ministry!
